2. Scope
These Terms of Use govern the use of the CPKI family of logic games for mobile devices, including Hashi, Sudoku, and other puzzle games published by CPKI GmbH, as well as related services and features.
Depending on the individual Game, available features may include puzzles, game levels, progress tracking, hints, statistics, advertisements, and optional premium features.
By downloading or using a Game, you agree to these Terms.
3. License to Use
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Games for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- copy, modify, or distribute the Games except as permitted by law,
- reverse engineer the Games except where legally allowed,
- use the Games unlawfully,
- interfere with the functionality or security of the Games.
4. Gameplay and Availability
We strive to keep the Games functional and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
Game features, content, levels, and other functionality may vary between Games and may be modified, updated, or discontinued at any time.
5. Advertisements
Free versions of the Games may display advertisements through third-party advertising providers such as Google AdMob.
We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
6. Premium Features
Individual Games may offer paid premium features, entitlements, or subscriptions through in-app purchase platforms operated by Apple or Google.
6.1 Payments
Payments are processed by the respective app store provider under their own terms and conditions.
6.2 Restoration
Where supported by the platform, previously purchased premium entitlements may be restored.
6.3 Refunds
Refunds are handled by the relevant platform provider according to their policies:
- Apple App Store,
- Google Play Store.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights in the Games, including software, design, logos, graphics, puzzles, and other content, remain the property of the provider unless otherwise stated.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- use the Games for unlawful purposes,
- attempt unauthorized access to systems or data,
- exploit bugs or vulnerabilities,
- interfere with the experience of other users.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Games are provided “as is” and “as available” within the limits permitted by law.
We do not guarantee:
- uninterrupted operation,
- absence of errors,
- compatibility with all devices,
- permanent availability of features or content.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory statutory consumer rights.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are liable only for intent and gross negligence.
Liability for injury to life, body, or health, fraudulent concealment, and mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
Under German product and consumer laws, mandatory rights remain unaffected.
11. Termination
You may stop using a Game at any time by uninstalling it.
We may suspend or terminate access where required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
12. Changes to the Games or Terms
We may update the Games and amend these Terms from time to time.
Material changes may be communicated through the relevant Game or app store listing.
13. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
14. Platform Terms
Use of the Games may also be subject to:
- Apple App Store terms,
- Google Play Store terms.
In the event of conflicts, mandatory platform rules may apply.
